Let Change Be Relentless

Relentless Love, Real Impact

Together for a Better Future

Together, we can build a Greater Manchester-and a world-where every child with cerebral palsy is included, empowered, and celebrated.

“We work to ensure that no parent feels alone, and that every child with cerebral palsy has the support and opportunities they need to thrive.”
– Felix & Faith Phikiso, Founders

We champion the rights and wellbeing of children with cerebral palsy across Greater Manchester. By providing vital information, resources, and compassionate support to families, we empower parents and carers to help their children thrive.

We envision a Greater Manchester where every child with cerebral palsy is fully included, empowered, and supported. Our goal is for all 198 community parks to feature accessible swings, for every disabled child to benefit from state-of-the-art hydrotherapy pools, and for specialist schools to be equipped with the latest resources. We are committed to breaking down barriers so that every child-regardless of mobility-can play, learn, and grow alongside their peers.

We pledge to stand by every parent and carer, ensuring they have the support, guidance, and advocacy their child deserves. Our work is driven by the belief that no family should face the challenges of cerebral palsy alone.

The Foundation of Our Work

Founded in 2025, JT Foundation is a county-wide advocacy charity dedicated to transforming the landscape for children with cerebral palsy in Greater Manchester. Through collaboration with local authorities, community partners, and global networks, we campaign for accessible environments, innovative therapies, and inclusive opportunities. Our strategy is inspired by leading organizations worldwide, such as the Cerebral Palsy Foundation and United Cerebral Palsy, who combine research, advocacy, and practical support to create lasting impact.

A family’s only chance at a real holiday

For families raising a child with severe cerebral palsy, going on holiday is not a question of budget or preference. It is a question of whether it is even possible. Standard accommodation fails them. Most hotels fall short. Mainstream short-break services are not equipped.

The Thomas Centre, in Covenham, Lincolnshire, is different. It was built specifically for families like ours — with hoists, height-adjustable beds, wide doorways, a heated indoor pool, a sensory garden, and a playbarn. It is not an afterthought. It is purpose-built, wholly dedicated, and run with genuine care.

The JT Foundation was established by Felix and Faith Phikiso, inspired by their son Jerome — who lives with Level 5 cerebral palsy. We know what it means to search desperately for a place that can actually welcome your child. The Thomas Centre is that place. We cannot let it disappear
